Oberlin, Ohio to Hudson, Ohio

Kathy, Judy, Anne, Jennifer, Me

Anne and Jennifer

Today was my least favorite ride of the tour. Maybe I'm tired, but it was HOT, and there was a lot of traffic. There were a few things to see along the way, but the route was not as pretty as most of our rides have been, so far. We had a few hills, but none on this part of the trip can be as bad as those Kentucky hills, so I'm not complaining. It was LOUISIANA hot, though! I'm going to post a few pictures for you, then log off and go to dinner at Cafe Trailer. Tomorrow I'll be better--less complaining, anyway. I miss y'all. All I want to ride now is DB's Monday night ride where the roads are FLAT, the only hills are the levy and the railroad tracks on Deborah Drive, and I can get behind some tall guys, like Bryan or Ricky, then go have burgers at Enoch's with Mike and some good friends. Five days, and counting.
Today's ride - 66 miles, Average 12.8, 5 hours and 7 minutes riding time

Hang in there, Sondra! Just a few more days and you'll be done. What a great feeling that will be! We're so proud of you! When you ride into Erie, PA, look for a sign that says -- Birthplace of Beth Freeland Hartt. It'll probably be small! :) It's a little known fact that I lived the first 4 months of my life as a yankee!! Happy and safe travels for the rest of your ride!
